Tiffany N. Smith-Nguyen obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego before receiving her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law. While at USD, she was a founding Board Member of Students for Sensible Drug Policy, USD’s 2013 Student Organization of the Year and was awarded the Best Respondent’s Brief award in the 2013 McLennon Moot Court Competition.
During and after law school she volunteered extensively in the community with organizations such as Voices for Children, the Lawyers Club of San Diego, and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, earning two Outstanding Service Awards and the State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services.
Prior to Joining Peters and Freedman, LLP, Tiffany practiced Community Association Law in Riverside, California. As a member of the Inland Empire chapter of Community Associations Institute, she co-authored CAI Connect Magazine’s 2016 Magazine Article of the Year.
