Pam Richardson graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a degree in Economics. Her career began in the hotel industry, where Pam held positions overseeing all aspects of hotel and country club operations including General Manager, Regional Manager, and Vice President of Operations. During her time in the hotel industry, Pam also served in leadership positions on the boards of directors of a number of local and state trade associations. Professional recognition included: “Pamela Richardson Day” proclaimed in the County of San Diego (July 2005) for service to community and industry; Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor’s Office, City of San Diego for service to community and industry; State Leadership Award – American Hotel & Lodging Association, 2012; “Hotelperson of the Year” Award – HMA/HSMAI Gold Key Awards, 2004; “Women Who Mean Business” Award – SD Business Journal, 2003.
Pam earned her Juris Doctor from Concord Law School in 2014, graduating with Honors. During law school she achieved numerous academic awards including Distinguished Scholar, Dean’s List, Outstanding Achievement in Criminal Law and Torts, and the Moot Court award for Best Brief, Plaintiff.
Prior to joining Peters & Freedman, L.L.P, Pam practiced community association law with a small firm in San Diego. Pam is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. She currently serves on the Legislative Support Committee for CAI’s San Diego chapter, and has served on the board of directors of her own homeowners association for more than ten years.
